Hello! I’m May Harrington, owner and principal designer of Harrington Interiors in Hamilton, Ontario. With my passion to create and my determination to push the boundaries of formal North American design, I established Harrington Interiors in 2014. My goal is to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that maximize a homes’ potential. I currently offer a range of exclusive design services with the convenience of digital rendering to the homeowners of Hamilton and surrounding areas including Burlington and Oakville.

As a dynamic accredited interior decorator with a passion for everything interior design and a keen eye for detail, I utilize trained design skills from an education background at Sheridan College along with my extensive and progressive client-based experience and project knowledge. Employing a  collaborative, client-friendly  approach  I generate unique design concepts, rectify space planning dilemmas and create personalized timeless settings for my clients.

I have refreshing ideas and a wealth of knowledge on the interior decorating industry. I endeavour to remain current  regarding the latest trends, technology and home fashions by attending trade shows, conferences and workshops. Much of my inspiration for projects originate from extensive travel. I collect unique ideas from landscapes, architecture and textiles around the world to use in upcoming projects.

As a full-time professional in the home renovation industry I also share my knowledge and experience at Mohawk College as a continuing education instructor in the Interior Decorating Program. Helping students refine skills and build their own careers has been a very rewarding journey over the past few years.
